The Command & Conquer: Red Alert iPad Exlusive features: new high definition graphics quality, new triple-touch selection box, new larger map views, and six skirmish maps and expansion pack. The success of this game is due to the online presence and the live action it brought to the gamers. Red Alert’s premise is an adaptation of the Cold War. Players can be Soviets or Allies and must defeat all enemies. The first levels lets the players have an idea of the game in an understandable game pace.
Command and Conquer: Red Alert is a strategy computer game. Red Alert is the prequel of Command and Conquer. The game was commended for the user interface which they said to be better compared to other games. The game gives the players the options to make commands, create groups and control other units. It has simple controls giving players the ease of control. Red Alert is the first game which allows online play. There are three campaigns in Red Alert: Soviet, Allied and Rising Sun. The game has five missions for each campaign. There are objectives to one must be able to complete within 30 minutes.
EA ported the iPhone edition to iPad but failed to upgrade the controls which should have suited iPad better. In iPad you may use your fingers to select units and then tap a button to draw a desired force. EA should have made more options since iPad doesn’t have space issues compared to iPhone. Nonetheless, it still gives players the adventure and gravity of a real strategy game. It has amazing graphics quality, which includes realistic avatar and 3D rendered buildings. It allows you to plunge into the action packed battle with the option of choosing difficulty levels. The multi-touch capability gives you the ability to scroll across terrains. However, it takes time to practice navigating around in your iPad.
It is effortless to create bases since the scrolling panel has all the options. Players can take careg and maintain the defense as well as keep the operations. Although there are no special abilities and attributes for the armies, they are still able to do their task.
The best thing about any real-time strategy games is the multiplayer option. However, Red Alert is only capable of local multiplayer options with the help of Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The skirmish mode is pretty shallow too. The game may also lack modes and customizations. Even so, it still proves to offer a fun experience and the best game play for any RTS games.
You guys need a strategy guide for this game. I can't beat the rising sun campagn…
Thanks for the input Lamont. We will get on that walkthrough for you asap!

Should be ready soon!!!
The MORNING SUN campaign really doesn't seem to be possible. Any advice?
Any luck figuring out the level?
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who can't beat the second level of rising sun…
Any feedback on the MORNING SUN objective? Much harder than any of the other levels, tips would be great…
You take down with air units on level two, there are no air defense. I can't get through the third level tho…. Someone help?
I just completed this level. Built power first, then refinery dojo. Built a few men to protect left side, moved all tanks to the right side. Built nano, on left side, then air field right below refinery. Started building choppers ASAP. Put up some air defenses and slipped 2 choppers to the right side of the board, took out the refinery, and started heading down. Tok out the refinery and used mass of choppers to hold off incoming tanks, planes, etc. At some point I built sent in engineer to take hospital. Kept building choppers and slowly moved down. finished with 4 minutes to spare.
Any tips on the first stage of the rising sun
Are you still stuck on this?
Please help Witherspoon the morning sun campain. Impossible.
What are you having trouble with in particular?
Having trouble with it as follows-
– tend to lose the 2 choppers you start with – the little jets come over and take them out.
– Have tried various strategies. If I build lots of choppers, then my base is overcome by tanks and eventually the big bombers.
– If I defend my base, my choppers get wiped out by the little jets.
– the choppers dont seem to attack some of the invading tanks.
– cash runs out
I have been building, Gen, Refinery, Dojo, Gen, Mecha, Ninja, then airfbase, and gen. Do I need all these?
Cracked it. As Robert said, you need to attack from the far right of the screen and take out their blue coloured refinery, then their generators to keep them short of power.
So build as Robert said, but have the choppers go as far right as possible, then south, and attack the blue refinery from the north. There are no defences from this direction. Keep sending the choppers down this route, taking out generators and the base buildings. There will then be very little opposition!
Have a question. I cant build refinery! It just red Everywhere i try to build. And i cant "take over" any existing rafinery With My enineers. Can you help me?
You may not have enough power stations nearby.
After getting very annoyed for days with morning sun, I finally cracked! The next one is proving a struggle- any tips or walkthrough? I can't find anything online.
Cheers
Just completed Mind Struggle (3rd Empire level). The key is to build your defense before going on the attack. Don't build the airbase and nanotech mainframe until your defense is established – you need the resources to build units.
Here's the detail… Build tank busters to garrison the nearest four buildings and keep replacing as needed. You will need resources from two refineries to keep pace with the attack, so expand your base east with two generators and two waveforce towers, then build a refinery on the ore mine. As fast as possible, send waveforce tanks east to keep the enemy tanks at bay, in conjunction with the waveforce towers. Build defenders between the garrisoned buildings as an air attack will come soon. Add waveforce towers if you have surplus resources. When you are building tanks faster than the enemy is destroying them, you can build your airbase and go on the attack. Go east first and destroy the base there with helicopters. Once you destroy the eastern base they will attack more from the north, so re-focus your defense there. Then go to the northern base and finally north east. Send a ground unit to each base to search for the captive. Job done!
I think people are getting the computer version mixed up with the iPad version because the comments do not work on the iPad version at all.
